Good Morning! Today's card of the day is brought to you by the Chrysalis Tarot and is Ma'at or Justice from the Major Arcana.
This card talks about balance...the balancing of the divine feminine and the visceral patriarchy. The divine feminine balances the visceral nature of the dominant male. We can tend toward needing to use words like "push", "strive", "attack", "knock it out", "kill it", "shred it"...and on and on bringing an unwittingly violent and difficult language to getting things we want or need to get done, accomplish or acquire. This card talks to me about balancing those words or thought patterns with a more nurturing vocabulary...."attend", "persevere", "connect", "adjust", "balance". To balance the visceral with the nurturing. We find ourselves unbalanced when we see we are working too hard, being too angry, too the only word I can think of is visceral. Too in our heads and not enough in our hearts. How do we balance these energies? Stop. When you feel you are striving...stop, take a breath, come to this moment. Ask yourself what you need...what would best facilitate this task? Ask with your heart open to an answer. Have a great day! ~Mamma Moon

Good Morning! Today's card of the day is brought to you by the Chrysalis Tarot and is The Star.
The star is about listening to that still small voice that heralds new life, new ideas, new insight. Personal transformation is in the air. This is a perfect card for this time of year. The earth is beginning to stir. New growth is just beginning to become apparent here in the Northern Hemisphere, where things in the south are beginning to wither and go to bed for the winter. In the process of birth is also death. The process is seamless and at one time non dual and at one with the whole process; beginning, middle and end. What is that voice saying to you? I can hear what it is saying to me..."just start" in an ever so tiny whisper...what do you hear? feel free to write it down in the comments, I will be happy to witness your ever so tiny voice...until it is a thunderous roar. ~Mamma Moon Good Morning! I have been getting so busy! I hope you enjoyed the herb of the week! Today's card of the day is brought to you by the Chrysalis Tarot and is the Ace of Mirrors.
Ace of Mirrors is also the Ace of Cups. The element is water and the Ace denotes new beginnings. These new beginnings are going to be more heart/emotional based than head/rational based...the trick will be to balance the two wont it? We like to think we make our decisions from a space of rationality and deep thought, which is to be commended but often can suck the juices right out of the mystery and fun of it. On the other hand, if we just fly by the seat of our pants and just attach to whatever our hearts desire whether it makes rational sense or not then oftentimes we "spin our wheels" and dont get very much accomplished. Our challenge is to find the balance isnt it? Heart and head. Yin and Yang...enough head energy to be practical and enough heart energy to make it juicy! Have a great day everyone! ~Mamma Moon Good Morning! Today's card of the day veritably JUMPED from the deck, lets jump right into what it means! Todays card of the day is brought to you by the Chrysalis Tarot and is the 3 of scrolls. The three of scrolls talks about soul loss and soul retrieval. Trauma brought about by violence, rejection and betrayal can cause a little piece of our soul to flee and hide to feel safe. This can happen in childhood, this can happen in adulthood. Any hurt that is too severe to deal with can cause these little pieces of soul to disincorporate. We become unbalanced and weak in that area and then the consequences of imbalance begins to show in our lives. How can this manifest? Feelings of anger with no obvious reason, being triggered by seemingly innocuous things, feelings of unworthiness, feeling frustrated or disconnected...the list goes on, sadness, depression, codependence, chronic negativity...you see where this is going. This card talks about the need for us to take the journey to find those lost pieces of self and soul. This is the hero's journey isnt it? To find those little missing bits of our wounded nature we left behind so long ago...or not so long ago and reintegrate them. Soul retrieval can be done with rebirthing, Transformational Breathwork, Holotropic Breathwork, Shamanic Journeys...there are a number of ways. I facilitate Transformational Breathwork and have had some pretty amazing experiences with myself and with others. Lives changed and peace recovered. Truly amazing! So today is about recovering the lost pieces, reintegrating, doing the Hero (ine)'s journey. Good luck to you traveller! ~Mamma Moon Today's card of the day is brought to you by the Sun Moon Tarot and is the Universe.
This is the last card of the Major Arcana...the turning of the hoop, a birthing, the end and the beginning. The transition to a new cycle. Let's look closer. This card is linked to success, prosperity, wholeness and completion. On the card we see the God Shiva, the creator and the destroyer. The best way I can explain this process is giving birth. At one moment you are pregnant, as you go through the birth process you become less pregnant and more a parent, the cycle is seamless, and often sudden. We are in the process of becoming parents. Parents of new businesses, new ventures, new ideas, new situations. Shiva is both the creator and the destroyer both. Shiva also embodies both man and woman in harmony, denoting balance in all things. The mudra (hand position) of Shiva is called the hasta mudra which promises protection, the circle of fire around Shiva denotes the unlimited energy available to you; the energy of the universe. In Shiva's hands are represented the four directions and four elements (balance). Shiva stands on the dwarf of ignorance, which represents the undeveloped self which may be holding us up. Shiva stands on this dwarf to represent our dominion over ignorance and the assurance of growth with enlightenment. An auspicious card today. Allow the birthing process to proceed, fear can stop the birth process, breath and confidence speed it along. ~Mamma Moon |
