Today's Card of the day is brought to you by the Chrysalis Tarot and is the Divine Child (The Hierophant) #5 of the major arcana.
I love this card. It reminds me to see and be like a child. To have childlike curiosity, enthusiasm and innocence. Transformation through play and creativity. Enlightenment by innocence. In the image we see the divine child with his/her paints curious about the feel of the colors and probably the taste also! In a scallop shell...the thing I love about the shell is what the author Toney Brooks says about the scallop shell. All of the ridges go to a single point in this shell, it represents the "many paths to enlightenment"...this card representing our divine childlike wonder. Uh oh...I brought Divine Child into the mix didn't I? Here is one of the most difficult concepts for some to embrace...ready? You are embodied perfection. You are the divine child. Perfect in every way in every moment. If you really believed that what would you accomplish? Would you feel empowered to take your own destiny into your own hands? What if you empowered yourself with the truth of it; you are divine. You are at the helm of your life. You are the decider. Your flame is fanned by you alone, or quenched by you alone. Which will you seek? To turn the flame into an inferno? Or to hide the flame in the smoke of fear? You get to decide. Good words today! I have not read this article, but what got me is the picture. To me, it says a lot and it is so meaningful for me. I would like to share my impression of that picture. First, it talks about a child who will have a good and colorful life which is full of ups and downs. Second is that she is going to be a kind person even though she will experience a lot of "downs" in her life. Lastly, she is sheltered by God and she will surely have him.

Children's innocence is very cute and sometimes it makes us laugh. We all know how children are all pure and in that way they are all innocent. I really love the concept you did in this art. It simply shows different ways of enlightenment from being a child to maturity age. I also went to some mind readers before and it is quite similar to this painting that is why I became curious once I saw your blog. Thank you so much for sharing this one.
